Fantastic, I learnt so much, it was taught [by Helen] very well and very clearly. Very informative and fun. Not too overwhelming with information.

Student testimonialsGood news for me passing my WSET Level 1 Award in Wines! Thank you ! I will study hard to prepare for the exam for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits.  I know that WSET is expanding in the market of China , most of Chinese who passed the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits and had a good performance  received the scholarship to travel and experience  vineyards around the world .  I am so interested in it.  I will continue to study wine and I hope someday in the future I will be a wine connoisseur.

The WSET is a great added value qualification, our students pay a lot of money and spend a lot of time in University studying Student Testimonialshospitality management, but they need the added value qualifications.  They need to have a little bit of an edge over students from other Universities, that they can offer to the employers when they are being recruited.
Crispin Farbrother, Bournemouth University
Programme Leader for the undergraduate Hospitality programme in the School of Tourism

Amazing course – thank you Erica! You made such a complex and large topic understandable to a person that wishes to enter this fantastic world of wine, and I now want to learn more!
Thomas Holden, WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits, Bournemouth University

Gained a really good knowledge of wines as well as spirits.  Enjoyed the course overall and looking forward to doing Level 2 next year.  Both teachers were great – I felt like I could ask questions and engage with them as well as them being genuinely interested in the topic they were teaching and being interested in their students.

I loved it, I learnt a lot, I think I will have more confidence from now on to recommend wine with food.  The course was understandable and easy to learn because of the teacher.  Thank you very much
Krisztina Kovacsne Revesz, WSET Level 1 Award in Wines Student, Gravetye Manor

Getting WSET in my CV was absolutely essential in my career change. Putting it on my CV showed employers that I was willing to spend my own time and money pursuing a career in wine and I really don’tthink I would have been offered an interview without it. I didn’t have much relevant experience so getting a WSET qualification was definitely the key factor in my successful career change from finance to wine. In this economic climate, with jobs so hard to come by, taking the time to complete a professional qualification like WSET alongside your university qualification is really important to make you stand out from the competition.
